Estate Tour
Our most popular tour and one that should be taken if your group hasn't yet visited Ford House.  The Estate Tour begins with a video that provides an historic overview of the Ford family.  Knowledgeable guides will lead your group on a tour of the home to discover its stories and spectacular treasures.  A highlighted walk through the grounds features a look at some of the most impressive areas of the 87 acre estate and a visit to some of the outerbuildings, such as the Play House, Recreation Building and Gate Lodge Garage.  Our group tour sales department can help put together an agenda for the day that fits with your group's timing.

Behind the Scenes Tours
Explore the nooks and crannies of the Estate with one of the Behind the Scenes tours:

Staff Life on the Estate
Job security and special amenities were bestowed upon the large and loyal staff that kept this substantial estate running.  Go behind the scenes to visit where they lived - from the home-like North Cottage to the bed and sitting rooms - and areas where they worked, including parts of the basement and third floor.

Secrets Behind the Paintings

The gardens and grounds of Ford House are a remarkable example of how the collaboration between Edsel Ford and famed landscape architect Jens Jensen showcases the art of the natural landscape.  Enjoy this extensive guided tour through the immense gardens and grounds.

Holiday Tour (late November through early January)
