March 11, 2017 thru May 6, 2017 @ 8:00am - 7:00am
| Edsel & Eleanor Ford House
1100 Lake Shore Rd.
Many species of birds call the estate home, plus many others stop by our 86 acres of woods, gardens and lakefront while on their way to warmer climates.
Novice and experienced birdwatchers are invited to join expert bird walk leaders and spotters, including Rosann Kolvacik, owner of Wild Birds Unlimited of Grosse Pointe Woods, as they explore the grounds. Bird spotters at Ford House frequently see dozens of species on their walks, and every walk is different!
Don't forget to wear multiple layers, dress for the weather, bring binoculars if you have them (some will be available for checkout at Ford House) and wear waterproof shoes as you'll be trekking all over the Ford House grounds.
After the walk, we will gather to tally up our bird count!
Advance registration is required and is online only. Space is limited.
Please include all contact information on registration form so that we may let you know of any changes in case of inclement weather.
