Exploring Stained Glass

Explore the beauty and artistry of stained glass with this virtual workshop that takes you from Ford House to an artisan's workshop. First, stained glass artist and preservation specialist Barbara Krueger will uncover the history of stained glass and offer tips on stained glass care. Kreuger will explore Ford House’s stained glass windows, including the coats of arms in the Gallery. Then, the program will "Zoom" over to the Merry Go Round Stained Glass studio in Clinton Township. You will watch the artists there demonstrate two styles of stained glass creation.

Cost: $15 general public, $10 Ford House members

This is an online workshop. You will receive an access code and a link to use to join the meeting. Our program uses the Zoom platform. You will need to download the Zoom app to your smartphone or tablet, or log into the Zoom website before you begin the workshop.
