Starry Nights at Ford House
Members, join us for an evening stargazing on the shores of Lake St. Clair! With 87 acres and an expansive shoreline, Ford House is an exceptional location to watch the night sky, especially with the new moon on Sept. 28.
Pack your basket for a sunset picnic on our lawn, enjoy a campfire, and observe the wonders of the night sky in the meadow. You can also listen to a presentation about the “Science Behind Astronomy” from Ford Astronomy Club President, Liam Finn, in the Visitor Center.
This is event is free for Ford House members, but we ask that you register in advance as space is limited.
