General Tour with ASL Interpreter
Take a guided house tour of Edsel and Eleanor Ford’s historic lakefront home. One of our knowledgeable docents will lead the tour, accompanied by an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter from the Deaf Community Advocacy Network – DEAF C.A.N.!
This experience is the same as our general house tour, with the additional benefit of an ASL interpreter, providing a more accessible experience for all our guests.
The tour is offered 12:30 p.m. the last Saturday of each month, April 27-October 26.
Tickets are final, no refunds or exchanges please.
For groups of six or more or to inquire about having an interpreter join your group on another date or time, please reach out to email@example.com or call 313-884-4222.
Please note: This tour experience requires going up and down a flight of stairs. As a historic structure, Edsel & Eleanor Ford House has some limitations for those with limited mobility. A limited number of wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For the safety of our guests, the second floor, attic and basement of the home are not accessible by wheelchairs or walkers, but a video tour of the second floor is available for guests to enjoy on the first floor in the Main Hall.
If you have any questions about how Ford House can meet your needs, please call us at (313) 884-4222.
