THE TEA ROOM AT FORD HOUSE:
LUNCHTIME’S BEST KEPT SECRET

With the return of migratory birds and sprouting of daffodils comes another anticipated sign of spring – the reopening of the Tea Room at Edsel & Eleanor Ford House. One of the best kept secrets on the east side, the Tea Room is a favorite destination for locals “in the know” who enjoy a quaint, unique spot for lunch. The Tea Room is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Chef Erik Ziegenbein has expanded the Tea Room menu offerings to include new items like a Warm Goat Cheese Salad, Mandarin Chicken Salad and a Caprese Sandwich. Guests who have been waiting all winter to enjoy their perennial favorites like the Ford House Signature Chicken Salad, Daily Quiche Specials and Monte Cristo Sandwich don’t have to worry as these delectable items remain on the menu. A complete menu can be found on the Ford House web site.

The Tea Room, with the sun streaming through the greenhouse-inspired windows, is located in the estate’s Activities Center. After lunching the Tea Room, guests are invited to enjoy a spring stroll through the gardens at no additional charge.
