Petting Farm, Arts & Scraps and Bunny Games Round Out the Fun
Grosse Pointe Shores, Mich., February 26, 2010 –Imagine being a little tike running on the huge Meadow at Edsel & Eleanor Ford House a crisp spring morning and collecting colorful, treat-filled eggs!  An annual favorite for more than 15 years, Ford House’s Easter Eggstravagaza is set for Saturday, April 3 at 10 a.m.
The morning will be filled with egg-citing activities where families can create wonderful memories together, like a visit with the Easter bunny for the perfect photo opp (and a gift from the floppy eared fellow!)
After collecting their treat-filled eggs, the children and their families will have the opportunity to get up close to some new furry friends in the Petting Farm. And new this year, youth from Grosse Pointe Theatre’s improve group will be on hand to lead kids in fun Easter Bunny games. Local favorite Arts & Scraps will be on hand to help attendees unleash their creativity with a springtime craft.
And, of course, attendees are invited to spend some time walking the grounds and stop in at the children’s favorite building at Ford House – Josephine Ford’s Play House.
As always, the event goes on rain or shine so guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather.
