Dig Deeper into Our Gardens
Posted: May 2, 2016

Dig deeper into our grounds and gardens at Ford House every Third Thursday -- May through October -- for a new series of after-hours tours and talks.

At our Third Thursdays in the Gardens you'll explore the estate on a docent-led tour of the beautiful grounds, then learn from our team of expert landscape professionals. Each month, the series will take on a new topic, covering everything from cultivating roses to choosing native plants.

The series kicks off May 19 with The Jensen Tour. The tour and talk will focus on landscape architect Jens Jensen and his vision for the design of the Ford House grounds. To celebrate International Museum Day, this first event will be free, however space is limited and you must pre-register.

Check out the entire series of Third Thursdays in the Gardens workshops, running every third Thursday, May through October. The other tours include the Rose Tour in June, the Native Plants Tour in July, the Pollinator Tour in August, the Autumn Tour in September and the Fall Color Tour in October.

Admission to the rest of the tours in the series will be $8 for non-members, $6 for members. Tickets are available at
