Fairy Tale Festival 2018 Schedule and Map!

Merry adventurers from far and wide are invited to explore the daring tale of Robin Hood at the Fairy Tale Festival 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 23! Tickets are on sale online here.

We have loads of fun in store at the festival, when the Ford House grounds will be transformed into Sherwood Forest and Nottingham.

PERFORMANCES

PUPPET THEATRE
11:00 | 1:00  Enjoy a delightful rendition of the classic tale Jack and the Beanstalk presented by Greg Lester’s Puppet Adventures.
 
ROBIN HOOD ROBBERY
11:00 | 1:00 Catch a glimpse of heroic Robin Hood as he robs the rich to feed the poor and outsmarts greedy Prince John.
 
STORYTELLER
10:30 | 12:00 | 1:30 Storyteller Karen Bonnici brings folktales to life through the age-old craft of oral storytelling.
  
CORONATION OF PRINCE JOHN & MEDIEVAL DANCE
10:30 | 12:30 Witness the grand arrival of Prince John at court, then dust off your dancing shoes
to learn a traditional medieval dance.
 
MAYPOLE DANCE
11:15 | 12:15 | 1:15 Take up a ribbon and join the dance round and round the Maypole in a May Day celebration.
 
TRIAL OF THE TAX DODGERS
Begins at King’s Court and moves to Town Square Stockade
11:00 | 12:00
Look out for the crooked Sherriff of Nottingham! Outlaws who haven’t paid
their taxes to greedy Prince John could end up in the stockade. 
 

 
ACTIVITIES AND CRAFTS
