Posted: June 24, 2014

Sparkling blue water. Sharing community with family and friends. Surrounding yourself with our nation's rich history and culture.

Ford House is open on Independence Day for you to explore the nature found on the 87-acre estate, to enjoy a picnic lunch with your family, see a historic house tour, or gather with friends at the Cotswold Café.

House tours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning on the hour and half hour. As a part of the Blue Star Museums program, active military and up to five family members get free house tour admission with military identification.

The Café is open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, July 4, and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 5. See the menu here.

For more family activities, on Saturday and Sunday – in celebration of “Your Neverland Adventure: Fairy Tales at Ford House” – Ford House will have a Peter Pan character and crafts from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Josephine’s PlayHouse.

Have a safe and happy 4th of July!
