Calling all active duty military!

As a thank you for your service, any visit you make to Edsel & Eleanor Ford House this summer is on us.


From Memorial Day through Labor Day, Sept. 1, we invite active military and up to five additional members of family to visit the 87-acre Grosse Pointe Shores estate for free.


The free admission program is available to any bearer of a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), a DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 11731 ID card, which includes active duty U.S. military Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, as well as members of the National Guard and Reserve, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps and NOAA Commissioned Corps.


Edsel & Eleanor Ford House is a proud partner of the Blue Star Museums program. As a part of the program, more than 2,000 museums nationwide offer free admission to active duty military personnel including National Guard and Reserve and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2014.
