Learn a variety of tips, tricks and skills that will help you take excellent photos to document your travels -- and select the best ones for sharing your experiences. This workshop will cover personal photo projects, shooting techniques, image backups, equipment choices, batteries, photo tours, security considerations, research, customs and more!

The program will be lead by Michael Sarnacki, a professional photographer with more than 30 years’ experience. His work ranges from editorial and commercial photography to photos for display in gallery exhibitions. Michael's photos are featured in many museums and private collections. He has shot events both locally and internationally. He has also produced a series of photo books. A Royal Oak resident, Michael is an adjunct professor at multiple universities and colleges in Michigan.
The cost for the workshop is $30 for Ford House members and $45 for non-members. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
