Fitness at Ford House: Total Strength & Stretch
Get fit at Ford House! Instructor Marie Fachini-Kurily leads this total-body, strength-training workout to improve your overall fitness.
The class will be held outdoors on the beautiful Ford House grounds and offers a mix of cardio (warm-up), strength training (weights), and mat work (core/abs) to gain muscle tone. A cool-down stretch will make you feel fantastic for the rest of the day.
This class is aimed at all fitness levels. All participants will need to bring their own mats and weights or substitute weights. See "What to Bring" below.
To stay safe, everyone must wear a mask to the class, but not during the exercises. Space will be limited to ensure safe social distancing for all. Don't forget to bring your own water, too.
This class is offered: Oct. 7 and 14.
Cost: $10 general public, $8 Ford House members. Register for both of our October sessions and get 10% off!
Please no refunds or exchanges. In case of inclement weather, class will be rescheduled, or refunds will be offered.
WHAT TO BRING
Everyone must have a mask with them and follow social distancing protocols.
Please also bring:
- A mat or beach towel
- A pair of weights (About 2 lbs or whatever you are comfortable with. A water bottle or canned food can be substituted.)
- Water for hydrating
- Comfortable shoes. We will be walking!
Park in the visitor lot and meet under the Visitor Center tent.
Times for all Ford House events and programs are in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
We ask any visitors who feel unwell, have a fever or other symptoms, to please stay home.
