Learn About Our Education Programs

The Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society's Pooch Prance is this Sunday, September 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A donation is required to be on the grounds during this time and it can be made at macsshelter.org. The grounds will be open to the public and Friends of Ford House from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Continental at Ford House will open at 11 a.m. Guests with reservations should enter through the North Gate. Please note that only guided tours are available on this day (no dogs allowed on tours).

Ford Cove Project

Ford House, the historic estate of Edsel and Eleanor Ford, is teaming up with the Great Lakes Commission (GLC) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for a project to restore disappearing wildlife habitats along the shoreline of Ford Cove on Lake St. Clair — part of Michigan’s Great Lakes waterway.

Featured Event: Learn About Ford House's Shoreline Habitat Restoration Project
