April 2023 Bird Walk
Join birding experts on this walk of the Ford House grounds in search of the many birds that make Ford House home. On the walk, you may see dozens of species and every walk is different.
The experts are Rosann Kolvacik, owner of Wild Birds Unlimited Grosse Pointe and Bill Rapai, President of Grosse Pointe Audobon. After the walk, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while you discuss the birds seen on your visit.
The walk is approximately an hour and a half (1 1/2) and traverses both paved and unpaved paths. Please wear weather appropriate clothes, waterproof shoes, and refrain from wearing bright colors as these may startle birds. Bring your binoculars or borrow some from us.
In case of inclement weather, this program will be canceled and tickets can be donated to Ford House Education endeavors or exchanged for another program.
