ABOUT THIS EVENT:

Glimpse into the past and learn about the 2,422-acre estate located 47 miles northwest of Ford House, now the Highland Recreation Area. Designed by Robert O. Derrick and Jens Jensen, Edsel referred to this natural getaway as his “nerve retreat.” This talk will be presented by Lisa Worley, Director of Material Culture at Ford House.

A guest from Friends of Highland Recreation Area will be on hand to answer questions about the work they do at the site of Haven Hill.

Be sure to visit our Haven Hill at 100 exhibition in the Teague Community Gallery, located outside the Jensen/Kahn classrooms in the Visitor Center.
