Health and Safety Update: Ford House is temporarily closed
Posted: March 11, 2020

Dear Ford House guests and members,

Ford House is temporarily closed to all visitors in response to Gov. Whitmer’s recent declaration of a state of emergency for Michigan and advisories from the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization, due to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

The health and safety of our visitors and staff is our utmost concern.

The closure applies to all grounds walks – including member walks -- public tours, programs, and workshops, until further notice.

We have not yet determined a date to reopen the estate as we continue to monitor closely the rapidly changing situation. If you have already purchased tickets for an event, please watch your email for more information.

Stay tuned to fordhouse.org and follow our Facebook page for updates.

We encourage you to keep informed, take precautions and stay safe. For information on coronavirus and precautionary measures, please refer to the Centers for Disease Control.

We look forward to welcoming you to Ford House when we can ensure a safe and healthy environment for all. Thank you for your patience during this time.

Sincerely,

Mark J. Heppner
President & CEO
Ford House
