Step into a world aglow with the magic of the season at Home for the Holidays at Ford House. Enjoy a one-mile walk around the property as shimmering lights surround you. Along your walk, visit the Main Residence for a self-paced journey, witnessing how Eleanor Ford would have decorated the home for the holidays. Stop by the concessions tent for your complimentary hot chocolate, adding a delightful touch to your holiday excursion.
And guess who’s stopping by every night? It’s none other than Santa Claus himself! Make sure to visit him for a photo op along the path.
Home for the Holidays at Ford House is not just a walking tour; it’s a journey through history and elegance, a celebration of the season’s magic.
What WILL YOU experience?
- Stunning light displays throughout the estate, like our light-draped willow trees, Rose Garden, Formal Garden, and more!
- A one-mile walk around the Ford House grounds.
- While most of this walk is along paved paths, some portions require walking over gravel and ground. No shuttle service is provided during Home for the Holidays at Ford House.
- Santa Claus visit and photo op.
- Self-paced exploration of the Main Residence.
- Enjoy a complimentary hot chocolate. Adults can opt to spike their cocoa for a nominal fee.
ADMISSION:
- Friend of Ford House Adult: $20
- Friend of Ford House Child (age 2-12): $10
- Public Adult: $28
- Public Child (age 2-12): $14
- Child (age 0-1): Free (does not include a complimentary hot chocolate)
- Ford House is a National Historic Landmark and 501c3 not-for-profit. Please respect the historic nature of the property, including our grounds and trees.
- As this is a walking experience, shuttle service is unavailable during this event.
- Concessions are available on the walk. Please visit the Concessions tent for drinks, snacks, and other goodies.
- Dogs are not permitted on the grounds during Home for the Holidays at Ford House.
- Children must remain with parents/guardians at all times.
- Friends walks are available until 3 p.m. on Home for the Holidays at Ford House dates. All guests after 3 p.m. must have a ticket for Home for the Holidays at Ford House.
