Geese Are Nesting on Grounds
Spring is here, and that means some of our feathered friends are nesting on the grounds. While exploring, please be aware of geese, as they can be protective of their nests. For your safety, we advise all guests to walk at their own risk and give geese plenty of space. Thank you for helping us respect our wildlife! 🦆🌿

ABOUT THIS EVENT

This Is a Taco! by Andrew Cangelose, illustrated by Josh Shipley, is a humorous and inventive picture book that blends factual information with playful storytelling. The story features Taco, a squirrel who prefers tacos over the typical squirrel diet of nuts and tree bark. Initially, the book presents itself as a nature guide about squirrels, but Taco, dissatisfied with the content, begins to alter the narrative to suit his tastes—literally and figuratively. He uses a red marker to cross out parts of the text and insert his own commentary, transforming the book into a tale that revolves around his love for tacos.
