Embark on an enchanting journey through the world of stories at the Story Festival hosted at Ford House. Story Festival, an early childhood program for children seven and younger, promises a day of wonder and joy, from whimsical tales to thrilling adventures.

Watch your child’s eyes light up as they meet their literary heroes, interact with storytellers, and engage in creative workshops, fostering a lifelong love for literature. The picturesque setting of Ford House adds a magical touch, creating an immersive experience where stories come alive amidst nature’s beauty.

  • Ford House is a National Historic Landmark and 501c3 not-for-profit. Please respect the historic nature of the property, including our grounds and trees.
  • Be prepared to walk from the parking lot to the concert behind Ford House on the shore. Please bring whatever you can carry on your own. You may bring and use hand-pulled wagons and carts.
  • Dogs are not permitted on the grounds during Story Festival.
  • The property will be closed to walkers until 2 p.m. when regular operating hours resume.
