Once Upon a Tea: Emerald City Tea Party

Follow the yellow brick road to Ford House’s Once Upon a Tea: Emerald City Tea Party, a whimsical children’s tea party and family event in Grosse Pointe Shores. Set in the beautifully themed Lake Shore Room overlooking picturesque Ford Cove, this immersive experience brings the story of The Wizard of Oz to life with vibrant décor, delightful treats, and costumed characters.
Children and their families will meet Dorothy and Glinda the Good Witch, portrayed by professional actors from Grosse Pointe Theatre. These beloved characters will mingle with guests, pose for memorable photos, and share magical, storybook moments during tea service.
Enjoy a delicious array of kid-friendly bites while sipping tea and enjoying the stunning lakefront views. It’s the perfect summer outing for parents, grandparents, and young adventurers alike.
