Celebrating Lincoln's 100th Anniversary
In 1922, Henry Ford purchased Lincoln from Henry Leland and handed the reins to son, Edsel, who plainly stated his goal for the newly acquired automaker: “Father made the most popular cars in the world; I want to make the best.”
