Join us at Ford House to learn about the process of making maple syrup, from start to finish. You’ll be introduced to techniques used to identify appropriate trees for tapping, take a short walk to our “sugar bush” for a tapping demonstration, along with a discussion on the process and history of making maple syrup. Then, we’ll gather at our wood-fire maple syrup evaporator, where the syrup will be tastings throughout its boiling process.

This event will conclude with maple syrup-themed cocktails (one per guest) and warm beverages.

This program will occur outdoors, so please dress for the weather and be aware that walking conditions will be uneven and at times unpaved, and maybe snowy, icy, and muddy. In case of inclement weather, this program will be canceled, and tickets can be donated to Ford House Education endeavors or exchanged for another program.

This program is for adults ages 21+.

Admission:
  • Adults: $30
  • Adult Members: $20
