Join us for Michigan Humane’s 36th Annual Mutt March on Saturday, May 18. Experience the stunning Edsel and Eleanor Ford House grounds with your pups, family, friends, and a community of animal lovers. We invite you to stroll the scenic path and participate in dog-focused activities while you enjoy the sun, food, and dog costumes!

Since 1989, Mutt March has served as Michigan Humane’s annual fundraising walk, celebrating people and their dogs on the grounds of Ford House. In 2023 alone, more than 700 participants from across southeastern Michigan attended the event.

“The staff and board of trustees of Ford House are thrilled to welcome Michigan Humane and Mutt March back to this historic estate for 2024,” said Ford House President & CEO Mark J. Heppner. “Dogs are an important part of the Ford House story, having been on the property from the very beginning, sometimes as beloved family members and other times as staff, like our goose dog, Moss.”

Enjoy a fantastic day with the whole family – two and four-legged family members alike!

Registration is completely free! Each fundraiser that raises or donates $50 or more will be rewarded with a limited edition Mutt March t-shirt and bandana for their canine companion.

What to Expect:

  • Adoptable dogs!
  • Costume contest
  • Scavenger hunt
  • Photobooth
  • Games
  • Food trucks
