Geese Are Nesting on Grounds
Spring is here, and that means some of our feathered friends are nesting on the grounds. While exploring, please be aware of geese, as they can be protective of their nests. For your safety, we advise all guests to walk at their own risk and give geese plenty of space. Thank you for helping us respect our wildlife! 🦆🌿

Dine in elegance at The Continental, a full-service restaurant at Ford House, overlooking Lake St. Clair. Our menu highlights seasonal ingredients, regional inspiration, and signature wines from Heron Hill Winery, founded by the Ford family in New York’s Finger Lakes.
From leisurely weekend brunches to relaxing lakefront dinners, The Continental offers something for every guest including a dedicated children’s menu, plus lunch, dinner, brunch, dessert, and beverage menus available onsite and online.

- Lunch: Tuesday – Saturday | 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Dinner: Thursday – Saturday | 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Brunch: Sunday | 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Closed on Mondays

The Continental is wheelchair accessible, with indoor and patio seating that offers stunning lakefront views. If you require additional assistance or accommodations, our team is happy to help.
Speedster Café
For lighter fare or a quick refreshment, stop by Speedster Café inside the Visitor Center. Enjoy coffee, tea, cold drinks, and grab-and-go snacks. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.
