Story Studio
Join us each week this summer for a new story and art project.
Miss Emily chooses a new book and theme each week. Snacks provided! This program is best for families with children 8 and under.
There are two times offered for each date. The same story and art project will be at both times, so please register for the one time that works best for you.
Space is limited and advanced registration is required.
August 3
This week listen to a story all about a walk in nature! Sit and hear the story A Walk in the Forest by Maria Dek. Afterward, make a nature-themed artwork of your own!
August 10
Sit and hear the story If I Built a Car by Chris Van Dusen. Afterward, make a car-inspired project to take home!
August 17
This week it’s all about birds! Sit and hear the story Have You Heard the Nesting Bird? by Rita Gray and illustrated by Kenard Pak. Afterward, make a car-inspired project to take home!
Session Times:
10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Cost:
$5 for children, $4 for children of Ford House members, free for adults.
