Walking meditation is a simple yet powerful practice. With no agenda but to enjoy some fresh air and simple movement, this is walking meditation. Once we finish, we again meet the concerns and needs of our complex human lives, hopefully from a more wakeful, connected place.
Through walking meditation, or any type of meditation, we cultivate our ability to tap into this larger picture – letting our endless thoughts take a back seat, and experience life as it is. What a relief! How wonderful to gather together for a simple, universal way to enjoy ourselves, one another, and nature – through the practice of walking meditation.
